The modpack
A recipe, not the mods themselves. Your launcher reads it and fetches all 86 mods on its own — about 345 MB — along with five shader packs and the creators’ own graphics settings.

A season of building, saved the day it ended. Every base, every farm, every sign still exactly where the creators left it — and nine hundred photographs they took of each other while it was happening. Two files, and you are standing in it.

About ten minutes, most of it spent waiting on the mod downloads. The order matters: the modpack builds the instance, and the world goes inside it.
.mrpackThe Modrinth App is free and needs no setup. Prism Launcher and ATLauncher work too. The vanilla Minecraft launcher cannot do this — it has no way to install mods.
Double-click WanderCraft-S2-Modpack-1.0.0.mrpack, or use Add instance → From file in your launcher. It builds a Minecraft 1.21.11 instance on Fabric 0.18.4 and downloads the mods itself. This is the slow step.
Start the instance and wait until you reach the Minecraft title screen, then close the game. You are not playing yet — this is what creates the saves folder the world needs to go into.
Extract the archive. You should end up with a single folder with level.dat sitting directly inside it. If you find a folder containing another folder, go one level deeper — the one holding level.dat is the one Minecraft wants.
savesIn the Modrinth App, open the instance’s three-dot menu and choose Open folder; in Prism, right-click the instance and choose Folder. Move the unzipped world folder into saves, alongside any other worlds.
Launch the instance again and the world is waiting in your Singleplayer list. You will arrive at the old server spawn.
Open it in Singleplayer first so Minecraft can upgrade the save, then either turn on Open to LAN from the pause menu, or copy the world folder onto a Fabric 1.21.11 server running the same mods. Most server software expects that folder to be named world.
The pack includes Simple Voice Chat, which needs the matching mod installed server-side before it will work.
Eighty-six mods, and these are the ones you will notice.
The in-game camera behind the album in this save — nine hundred photographs the Wanderers took of each other, still hanging where they were placed.
Proximity voice. Most of what you have heard in Season 2 footage came through this.
The map the creators actually navigated with. Their waypoints came down with the world.
Shaders, and a large framerate gain over vanilla. Five packs ship with the modpack — Complementary, BSL, Photon and Solas — with the creators’ own settings already saved.
The structures and worldgen that shaped where everyone settled. Season 2 looks the way it does because of these.
Records and replays a session with a free camera. Also the largest single mod in the pack, at 202 MB of the 345.
Eleven entries — five mods and six resource packs, Fresh Animations and 3D Skin Layers among them — ship deliberately disabled, exactly as the creators had them at the end of the season. Your launcher installs them in the off position. Turn any of them on from the mods list if you want to; nothing in the world depends on them.
Downloads this large do get cut short, and a truncated world will not open. Worth thirty seconds before you spend ten minutes installing.
